Amanda Green, Viniyoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in Austin, Texas

Amanda Green

Viniyoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in Austin, Texas

I work with individuals who are looking for a more personal, responsive approach to yoga—especially when group classes no longer meet their needs.

My teaching is rooted in Viniyoga, a tradition that emphasizes adapting practices to the individual. I focus on how the body and breath function, and how thoughtful, consistent practice can support real change over time.

Why Work With Me

Thousands of hours of guiding individuals and years of training have shaped my core areas of specialization:

Mastery of Body & Breath Mechanics

I possess a deep, technical understanding of how the body moves, aligns, and breathes, and I guide students with precision and safety. I can teach you how to weave breath technique into movement creating a practice that is both therapeutically sound and deeply embodied.

Rooted in Yoga Philosophy & Psychology

I bring the richness of yoga's philosophical and psychological teachings into our work, helping you connect your practice to something far greater than the physical. This foundation gives every conversation a layer of depth and meaning that transforms practice into a genuine path of self-inquiry.

Compassionate Presence & Honest Guidance

It is an art to truly listen — hearing not just what is said, but what lies beneath it. I hope to meet you with warmth and empathy, while gently uncovering the core of what you’re working through, while offering feedback that is both lovingly honest and genuinely supportive.
